Salon: 'Double Healix'

Double Helix

conducted by Manfred van Doorn

Monday, September 10 from 19.00:21.30 PM – XNUMX:XNUMX PM

Location: Center Venwoude, Vuurse Steeg 1, Lage-Vuursche

You are cordially invited to the salon with Manfred van Doorn about Double Helix.

Manfred has developed this leadership model with the aim of contributing to a further enrichment of the inner and social life. He is convinced that together we are on our way to an Ecology of Meaning in which we put care for the soul, for each other and for our living environment first.

The Double Healix model is based on Joseph Campbell's Journey of the Hero. We can see the twelve stages of this Hero's Journey in our life course as a whole, but also in smaller cycles of our personality development; over and over again and hopefully on an ever higher level of awareness, responsibility and compassion. It is an upward spiral to wholeness (helix + healing = healix).

In this salon Manfred will introduce the Double Healix model in a nutshell (until the break) using inspiring images from films, documentaries and new media.

After the break there will be an interactive exchange about what the model has brought about and what is next for us to do.

Manfred van Doorn is an internationally active leadership trainer and originally a psychologist-psychotherapist. He uses his vast experience, people skills and humor to help leaders become the center of their strengths and talents. He is known for his love and deep knowledge of movies, which he uses extensively to support leadership development. Manfred dedicates his life to integrating inner and outer leadership and helping to establish an Ecology of Meaning. His most recent books are: Reinventing the Wheel – Cycles and Levels of Leadership and This is the And – The Future for Beginners. He wrote this last book in collaboration with his son Victor van Doorn.

In October 2012, Manfred van Doorn will start a new leadership cycle 'Vision on Training.' Using impressive film fragments, he takes you on a journey through the various domains of human development and leadership during eight meetings. He makes the connection with the transition we are going through to a sustainable society and the multifaceted leadership that is required for this. Eating together

It is possible to have a cozy and inspiring meal together before the salon. We eat a vegetarian meal between 18.00 pm and 18.30 pm. The costs are € 12,50 pp (in cash and to be paid to the CHE Salonhost there) and it is appreciated if we help clean up. For a good planning of the kitchen and the purchases, we pass on the number of diners on Friday morning. So give your time (no later than Friday morning before noon – September 12.00, 7) on via salons@humanemergence.nl.

If you can't come unexpectedly, send a text to Diana the Great 06-43825794.

And also possible, become a donor!

Organized by volunteers for volunteers. And the CHE has costs. From the Chamber of Commerce and the website to wanting to compensate for the time that goes into making connections between parties that enter into collaborations that they could not have dreamed of. To continue to make all this possible, we invite you to become a donor of the CHE.

With an automatic transfer of at least € 20,– per month you make our work possible. The Center for Human Emergence NL is recognized as a charity, so your donations are tax deductible. You can register as a donor by sending an email to diana@humanemergence.nl  and/or transfer a one-time donation or monthly amount directly to account number 21.24.79.172 in the name of the Center for Human Emergence Foundation in The Hague. More information can be found here. Incidentally, individual contributions are also very welcome.

Yours faithfully,
