What lessons can we learn from the recent Dutch elections?
Beyond polarization : an article by Paul Zuiker and Erika Koehler, December 2023
This article exposes the mechanisms behind the polarization based on Dutch political developments. We introduce a globally and long-term validated psychological framework with values as a starting point. Values reflect what people really find important. This not only allows us to explain voting behavior much better, it also provides insight into how a new type of leadership can transcend polarization.
