As of May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies. This means that from that date the same privacy legislation applies throughout the European Union (EU). The GDPR gives natural persons more rights and gives organizations (such as CHE-NL) more obligations to handle personal data with care. CHE-NL complies with the regulations that apply from 25 May 2018. The new regulation gives natural persons the right to know who stores their personal data and what data is kept, but also the possibility to demand that their data be deleted or to object. Why this privacy statement? We attach great importance to your privacy and we will therefore handle this personal data confidentially and carefully. Applicability of privacy statement
This privacy statement applies where we act as a data controller with respect to personal data of website visitors and users and we determine the purpose and means for the operation of that personal data. For what purposes do we collect your personal data?
CHE-NL uses the personal data obtained to achieve our objective. CHE-NL collects personal data when participating in our events and activities (for example a salon or workshop), receiving a donation, subscribing to our newsletter or entering into a sponsorship or collaboration. These personal data are processed in order to achieve optimal cooperation with those involved and to keep them informed of our events and activities, for example via our Newsletter. Personal data will not be used for purposes other than those described above.
CHE NL can process the following personal data:
Contact and account information: such as your first and last name, address, telephone number and email address; Payment details such as account numbers for transferring or collecting money in connection with a financial settlement.
Which third-party processors does CHE use?
CHE-NL uses external parties. Transfers to these processors will be protected by appropriate safeguards; namely the use of standard data protection clauses and/or the EU-US Privacy Shield. CHE NL will take reasonable and appropriate steps to ensure that all third parties engaged as sub-processors process the personal information that we entrust to them in a manner consistent with the requirements of the GDPR.

CHE-NL takes the protection of personal data very seriously and takes appropriate physical, administrative, organizational and technical measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
