“Lead yourself with such authenticity and depth that other people will choose to follow”
Cindy Wigglesworth, founder of Deep Change

During the EuroConfab in April 2011, Anne-Marie Voorhoeve and Gertjan Broekman came into contact with 'Deep Change/SQi' thanks to Ian McDonald (CHE-UK).

With the help of the Spiritual Intelligence Inventory (SQi), Deep Change offers a methodology that helps leaders in organizations to take steps in a coaching manner on the deeper path they want to be aware and act.

In fact, Deep Change builds on the work Daniel Goleman did in the 90s on Emotional Intelligence (EI). Deep Change names and describes 21 skills (competences) that form the foundation for Spiritual Intelligence, offers a validated and very nuanced measuring instrument and a path to strengthen the competences that someone thinks they need and wants to strengthen themselves.

What appealed to Anne-Marie and Gertjan is the depth and care that Deep Change offers in everything. The thinking and doing, the instruments, the elaboration.

Deep Change looks value-free and fits in beautifully with the integral and inclusive thinking of Spiral Dynamics Integral and gives this a recognizable place.

Spiritual intelligence is the ability to behave with Wisdom and Compassion while maintaining inner and outer peace (equanimity) regardless of the situation.
Deep Change' definition of SQi

At the end of May, Anne-Marie and Gertjan followed the 3-day certification training in the UK. They are very enthusiastic about it and would like to continue Deep Change.

They want to share with the salon what they have learned and experienced. They want to explore with you what Deep Change and the SQ21 measuring instrument can mean for the CHE and the world.

The program consists of three parts:

  • the kick-off and practice to highlight and experience aspects of Spiritual Intelligence;
  • the theory behind Deep Change and the global structure of the SQ inventory;
  • the plenary inquiry what Deep Change can mean for yourself, for the CHE and for the world of organisations.

There will also be an offer to do the SQ21 yourself.

Gertjan Broekman and Anne-Marie Voorhoeve have been involved in the CHE from the start (2005). Anne-Marie is a Strategic Connector and Synnervator, involved in transition processes, designing, developing and facilitating meshworks (multi-stakeholder processes) and initiating processes that bring the CHE into the world.
Gertjan is Media Exposure Coordinator, involved in the positioning and communication of and about the CHE. He has his own company, Responsable Advice-Coaching, with which he offers an integrated approach to organizational development.

We would like to invite you to this salon on Monday February 13, 2012. The salon starts at 19.00:21.30 PM and lasts until XNUMX:XNUMX PM.

Eating together

It is possible to have a cozy and inspiring meal together before the salon. We eat a vegetarian meal between 18.00 pm and 18.30 pm. The costs are
€ 12,50 pp (in cash and to be paid to the CHE Salon host there) and it is appreciated if we help clean up. For a good planning of the kitchen and the purchases, we pass on the number of diners on Friday morning. So give your time (no later than Thursday 9 February 2012) on via salons@humanemergence.nl.

If you can't come unexpectedly, send a text to Diana the Great 06-43825794.

Organized by volunteers for volunteers. And the CHE has costs. From the Chamber of Commerce and the website to wanting to compensate for the time that goes into making connections between parties that enter into collaborations that they could not have dreamed of. To continue to make all this possible, we invite you to become a donor of the CHE.

With an automatic transfer of at least € 20 per month you make our work possible. The Center for Human Emergence NL is recognized as a charity, so your donations are tax deductible. You can register as a donor by sending an email to Geeske@humanemergence.nl and/or transfer a one-time donation or monthly amount directly to account number 21.24.79.172 in the name of the Center for Human Emergence Foundation in The Hague. More information can be found here. Incidentally, individual contributions are also very welcome.

Yours faithfully,
