Our society is undergoing a transition of unprecedented scale. The climate crisis, (political) polarization in society, the loss of biodiversity, the consequences of international shifts such as Brexit, and, of course, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic—these are examples of problems that stem from our successes over the past decades. Which direction are we heading, and (how) can we influence this? And what can you contribute? Solutions cannot be found if we continue to think and act in the same way that caused the problems in the first place. We face the challenge of developing new, more complex, and creative ways of thinking and acting. Taking on this challenge requires both awareness and a firm decision.

The Center for Human Emergence NL (CHE NL) wants to contribute to that from the perspective of the Holistic Perspective. We do this through salons, constellations, online cafés, and projects. Current themes include: decolonization, new politics and citizen deliberation, integral leadership, energy-based work, collective shadow work, and the personal development required for these. The guiding principles The means by which we intend to achieve this goal are:

• We base everything we do on unity
• We recognize the natural order in all life
• We fulfill the role that is ours
• We act when the time is right, and in this way we do not suffer
• We explore creative tension until new insights emerge
• We act on the basis of mutual trust and are always willing to be accountable to one another and to the group as a whole
• We consciously and fearlessly put authenticity into practice:
  – we open our hearts to the voice of the whole
  – we respond to the evolutionary impulse as it arises within us
  – As part of that impulse, we act with speed, precision, and love.
