Are you ready for “Communication in the 2nd Tier”?
CHE LAB: Integrated Communication
Are you ready for “Communication in the 2nd Tier”?
Staying the course in chaotic times requires a different approach to communication.
CHE will pass on the essential insights gained over many years through comprehensive communication in training sessions
Within the CHE framework, we have been practicing for years—for the greater good—using new—and sometimes ancient—forms of communication in salons, constellations, and projects. Many of you have experienced these ways of communicating during previous salons and have practiced them. We are now going to pass on these methods, which are based on years of practice.
It’s about listening and conversational skills in which you create space, include others, listen deeply, and speak from a place of presence. In which you attune yourself—as one with the other person and with the space where you are together—to what needs to be said, speaking beyond your “I” for a greater purpose. Sometimes it flows smoothly, and sometimes it’s a bit rough. And that, too, is information.
In short: skills that help you awaken, connect with one another despite your uniqueness and differences in values, perspectives, and judgments, and that can bring about a shift toward a consciousness of oneness.
Path to Awakening
In 2018, in two workshops, a total of about 30 CHE members explored a number of essential communication skills, such as “active listening” and “dealing with conflicts.” In addition to a deeply shared sense of connection with one another, we clearly experienced in these salons that a greater cause calls for a different attitude and way of communicating. One of the participants put it this way after the first salon: “Shaping your own path of awakening is the work that needs to be done.”
Coming soon: Peter Luijten and Annelies Weijschedé a one-day ‘"CHE LAB: INTEGRATED COMMUNICATION" as a contribution to this path.
CHE Communications Folder
We operate based on a CHE Communications Folder which we, Peter and Annelies, have created over the past year at the request of the CHE’s Alignment Circle and through our own biweekly practice of integral communication, in addition to our role as salon hosts.
We’ll take a closer look at both timeless, proven principles and new approaches to communication and facilitation.
You're going home, At least one step closer to your natural self, with the CHE communication guide, the communication skills you’ve practiced, and how to apply them in various contexts—plus the opportunity to gain experience under guidance after the lab.
In the One-Day CHE Communication LAB We practice this together through experiential learning and the theories of CHE frameworks such as Spiral Dynamics Integral, Collective Presencing, the Art of Hosting, and Energy Work. But we also draw from “new” sources: Insight Dialogue, Indigenous Wisdom, and Thrivability.
It is a lab because the chosen format—as in the salons—is an Art of Hosting method that incorporates “the four-fold way of hosting”: be present (1), participate and practice (2), host (3), and co-create (4).
As David Whyte, the poet, so beautifully puts it: “The approach that is also the meeting”!
Through the tools we provide, we explore the fundamentals of integral communication: silence, trust, multiple perceptions (body, intuition, energy, intellect, heart), following impulses, intention, and spaceholding. We work through three modules designed to foster awareness—both of our own habits and strengths and those within relationships—as well as to facilitate processes for social renewal. Our approach is both practical and profound.
Use the CHE communication folder yourself—before, during, and after the lab.
We’ll get started before you arrive and continue after you leave; of course, we don’t expect you to have mastered “life practice” after just one day of learning together. That’s why this lab is supported by the option to gain hands-on experience by hosting one of the upcoming CHE salons under our guidance.
Why launch this learning and training lab right now? In today’s world—which is constantly changing and complex—people sometimes get stuck or experience burnout. Certainties fade away. But something new can also emerge through our interactions with others. There are social initiatives and activities that—based on a sense of wholeness and with an open heart—make a meaningful contribution to the world.
CHE communication methods help you reconnect with yourself, bring something valuable to the table, and add depth to co-creation—so that everyone can see themselves reflected in the process and feel recognized and appreciated as part of the whole. And can attune themselves to what is meant to happen. In this lab, you can connect with trust and develop your compassion: not wanting to change others but meeting them where they are. With a clear intention in mind. It’s an open lab for CHE members, and by that we mean: whoever shows up is “the CHE.”

The second tier calls for speaking up… We are organizing this lab out of our own desire to contribute to positive change in the world through revitalizing communication. We believe this can begin right here and now, starting with ourselves and extending to everyone with whom we live and work. By striving to understand one another—with or without words—from the heart, mind, hands, and consciousness.
