Zijn zoon van zes had alleen schrammen en zelf moest hij bijna een jaar revalideren om weer op de been te komen. Zonder het intensieve contact met zijn vrouw had hij het misschien wel opgegeven. Gaandeweg daagde hem echter een andere werkelijkheid dan die waar hij aan was gewend \u2013 een werkelijkheid voorbij de dualiteit waarin de vreugde volledig is, de liefde onvoorwaardelijk.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pimvanlommel.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pim van Lommel<\/a> zag als cardioloog op de operatietafel mensen sterven, en terugkomen in hun lichaam. Nieuwsgierig naar hun \u2018nabij de dood ervaringen\u2019 deed hij het grootste wetenschappelijke onderzoek naar dit fenomeen ter wereld.
