“Everything is completely fine the way it is and at the same time, of course, it has to be completely different.” This is the motto of Jasper Rienstra, who succeeded Arjen Bos as director of CHE Synnervate on 1 January 2014.

How do you ensure that your company is 100% in line with the purpose that you serve as a foundation? That was the question that prompted Arjen Bos in 2007 to start shaping what would become CHE Synnervate: a private company that is fully owned by the CHE foundation. A company in which people who fulfill roles at the CHE can provide services to organizations that want to take the next step in their development. Over the past 7 years, Arjen Bos has built this company from the ground up. The CHE is grateful to him for the cheerful and thorough way in which he has given shape to a thought. Fortunately, he remains active as a synnervator.
When Arjen indicated at the beginning of last year that he wanted to hand over the baton, an exciting process started. All synnervators were asked who they wanted to nominate as the new lead of their holacratic circle and director of the BV. From the conversations that the board of the foundation had with the candidates, it appeared that Jasper Rienstra is currently the right person to to take the company to the next level. After a training period of several months, the contract was signed with him. He is expected to continue and expand CHE Synnervate – fully in line with his motto. More people, more products, greater visibility in the market. For organizations that are ready to take the next natural step.
Intention: more impact
Jasper Rienstra: “I have a deep faith in Synnervate: in our purpose, the embedding in the CHE, the people and what we have to offer. I therefore want to generate more impact. We have something essential to bring to this world in transition. The eight of us are a top team with an excellent track record with clients. We receive favorable evaluations and reviews – in terms of impact, we can expect more from ourselves than we realize now. We are relatively still a bit 'beautiful on an island'.
That is not a tension between reality and potential that makes me sad. It just gives me energy. We are building on the solid foundation we have created under Arjen's inspired leadership. We are bursting with ideas to show our special content to the world.
