Hello CircularWorld! – From consciousness to transition

Hello CircularWorld! is a flagship project of CHE NL to help give substance to the intention of CHE: a dedicated partnership in life.

The HCW! team directs and moves people, organizations and resources to fulfill their natural role in realizing a circular world. Where appropriate, initiator Anne-Marie Voorhoeve, strategic connector CHE NL, participates in conversations and events and brings (parts of) the meshwork vision and methodology to life with the team. Together with parties, we look more consciously at the integrated reality and work step by step towards a circular economy and a circular world.

This method is described in the chapter 'Meshworking' in the publication Working on the WEconomy, sustainable cooperative organization by Jan Jonker and about 30 other authors. Ard Hordijk, Peter Merry and Anne-Marie write about working together on breakthroughs towards a sustainable world by creating coherence and scaling up. Not only the working method, but also a rich diversity of projects is described. Anne-Marie and Ard also designed and facilitated the introduction event of the book on 1 February. Some 160 participants held meaningful conversations there, according to the practice of meshworking, aimed at unlocking and connecting 'social capital'.

Hello CircularWorld! wants to contribute to the development of a (preferably worldwide) frame of reference and a meshwork roadmap in which people can find each other, co-create, the coherence and cohesion of the many initiatives becomes visible and tangible and growth and synergy arise. All this from the knowledge that recognition and awareness help the transition of our society. HCW! is in fact aimed at making visible and restoring the balance between autonomy and connectedness, both in relation to ourselves and other people and to our environment.
