The Power of Curiosity – Marinet Ritz

The power of curiosity

Shortly after the attacks in Paris, I saw a wonderful conversation with the Israeli writer Amoz Oz in Buitenhof. He emphasized that genuine curiosity about the other and the situation is an important key against fanaticism and radicalisation.

Also within the Training Integral Coaching genuine curiosity is an important vehicle for development.

Through this involved attention and interest, our inquiring, exploratory and reflective mind is awakened. We make a break with our daily automatic reactions and create space for new insight. This allows us to break free of stereotypes about ourselves and others (which, incidentally, have a function to a certain extent) and really look at who someone is, what he/she desires, where someone's pain is and what his/her values and ideals are.

In February 2016 there will be a four-day retreat: Live from the bottom of your heart.

In September 2016 the new group for the 2,5 year old will start Training Integral Coaching
